A LITTLE BIT OF BROADWAY COMES TO ADAMS MORGAN

Potter's House Benefit with the cast from MetroStage

On Friday, March 23, 2007, some of Washinton's best musical theater actors will perform a concert for "Songs of Hope" at the Potter's House, a Friday event that presents music and benefits a community organization. In this case, the evening will benefit Charlie's Place, serving the homeless in Washington, DC.

Helen Hayes Award nominees/winners Donna Migliaccio, Bobby Smith, Janine Gulisano-Sunday and Russell Sunday will be performing favorite Broadway showtunes. They are starring in MetroStage's upcoming production of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) which opens April 12th and will run through June 3rd. These Washington musical theater favorites will do a program of some of your favorite Broadway songs, including songs from Jekyll and Hyde, Aida, Miss Saigon, Kiss Me Kate, Ragtime, Cats and Follies. Dan Kazemi will music direct.

Don't miss this great opportunity to hear some of Broadway's best songs, sung by some of Washington's favorite actors, to benefit a great cause.

The performance will be 7-10:30 on Friday, March 23rd. Tickets are $15 (suggested donation at the door). Potter's House is located at 1658 Columbia Road NW in Adams Morgan, Washington DC 20009 (202-232-5483).
