Story Concept by Roz White
Book by Roz White and Thomas W. Jones II
Directed by Thomas W. Jones II

In her new tribute to Pearl Bailey, award-winning singer/ actor Roz White has chosen many of Pearl Bailey's "16 Most Requested Songs" which she recorded for Columbia Records at the height of her career (including "St. Louis Woman", "Baby It's Cold Outside" and "The Hucklebuck") and built an evening of marvelous music and memorable stories. Pearl was a legendary songstress, acclaimed actress and irrepressible show business personality. This musical world premiere celebrates Pearl and her musical magic as the audience is transported to a late 1940's nightspot by this "Ambassador of Love."

Roz White has appeared at MetroStage in Three Sistahs, Bricktop and Two Queens One Castle. She won a Helen Hayes Award for her performance in Bessie's Blues.
