Catherine Flye performs at the Canadian Embassy

MetroStage
will present
SHAKESPEARE'S WILL
as part of the
Shakespeare in Washington Festival
Friday, February 9, 2007 • 8:00pm

By Canadian playwright Vern Thiessen
Directed by John Vreeke
Starring Catherine Flye as Anne Hathaway
This remarkable one-woman play is Anne Hathaway’s provocative recollection of her life as the wife of William Shakespeare on the eve following his funeral. The production exposes the woman who had a life and dreams of her own as she raised Shakespeare’s children alone in Stratford while the Bard wrote the greatest plays of all time in London, separate and apart from his wife and children.

A reception follows the performance.
